Mind-blowing cottage for a solo trip or couple, with a jaw-droppingly spacious shower cubicle for tall people. Super parking and awesome outside space for drinks and meals. Hosts excel in friendly and welcoming service, going the extra mile with directions and local advice. The modern, homely toilet and barn refurb look stunningly neat and tidy. The area is good for isolation, with super views, and the cottage is conveniently self-catering with a short drive to the motorway and main town. Great central location to explore the surrounding Lake District. Free wi-fi, parking, and electric kettle available, with no pets or smoking allowed on-site. Will definitely come back for another awesome stay!

The cottage was fantastic for a solo trip or a couple. The shower cubicle was larger than standard, perfect for tall people. The parking was really good and in nice weather, the outside space was a great bonus to enjoy a drink or meal outside. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, always happy to help. The cottage was very clean and well-presented on arrival.

Felt really welcomed, no reason to complain.

We loved the self catering option and being able to cook our own meals. The location was great, close to the motorway and only a short drive to the main town. It was also centrally located for exploring the surrounding Lake District. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with directions and local advice.

One downside was the lack of a washing machine. We were staying for a week and would have preferred to have the option of doing our laundry.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was so cozy! I absolutely loved taking a hot bath after a long day of exploring. It was a perfect way to unwind and relax. As a budget traveler, having such a comfortable and pleasant bathroom was a real treat.

Honestly, I didn't really use the bathroom with just a shower. It's just my preference, but I prefer a nice soak in the tub.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of Daisy Cottage. The beautiful furnishings and soft color palette made me feel right at home. The general areas of the cottage were well-maintained and clean, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the cottage. The layout was well-thought-out, with no stairs to worry about and everything conveniently located on one level.

I would have loved if there was a handrail in the bathroom. It would have provided extra support and safety for us senior folks.
